Ulrike Unterwandling, daughter of the founder, and Thilo Hack, long-time head of Industry Division, change to Supervisory Board Chairmanship and Board of Management of the battery-specialist ANSMANN AG, Assamstadt
(Assamstadt 16.02.2021) Ulrike Unterwandling (daughter of the former founder – née Ansmann), a business economist, specializing in international trade and a member of the Supervisory Board of Ansmann AG for 10 years, took over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ANSMANN AG in January.
Former head of Industrial solutions, Thilo Hack, has been appointed new member of the management board. The experienced battery market expert has been successful as Head of Industrial Solutions at ANSMANN AG for many years. The 51-year-old already had gained extensive experience in the international battery market before joining ANSMANN ten years ago, when being responsible for setting up European trading and development structures for an Asian battery company. Hack will be responsible for sales, R&D and marketing. With immediate effect, Hack and continuing member of the board Markus Fürst will equally form the new Executive Board on equal terms.
Business economist Markus Fürst, already a member of the ANSMANN AG Board of Management since 2010, will continue to be responsible for Accounting, Production and QA, Materials Management, IT and the Asian subsidiaries. His portfolio will be expanded to include Human Resources and General Administration. The previous Chairman of the Board leaves the company.
