The Accra International Conference Centre will open its gates for the 2nd edition of WACEE from 12 – 14 November 2013. The West African Clean Energy & Environment Exhibition & Conference will present 41 international market and technology leaders from 5 countries and attracts the key players of West Africa“s energy industry. Several Ghanaian ministries, notable sponsors and international institutions support this B2B event. The entry for the exhibition & the conference is free for all professionals from the industry.
The official opening for WACEE „13 – the 2nd West African Clean Energy and Environment Exhibition and Conference takes place on 12 November at 9 a.m. at the Accra International Conference Centre. For three days 41 exhibitors from 5 countries will discuss business with more than 800 expected professional trade visitors. In addition, the „Ghanaian-German Renewables Business Forum – Setting the Ground for Sustainable Energy Development“ and the conference under the title „Achieving more with less: Resource and energy efficiency for a greener future“ will be held alongside the trade fair, organised in cooperation between giz – Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit and AHK Ghana – Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana.
Germany will leave a heavy footprint at WACEE’13. The German participation consists of the participation of the German federal state of North-Rhine Westphalia and individual German exhibitors. And the event is organised by AHK Ghana-Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana and the German trade fair specialists fairtrade, supported by giz.
The exhibitors of the 2nd West African Clean Energy and Environment Exhibition and Conference, WACEE expect a B2B-audience of professionals from all over West Africa. Due to the targeted media campaign, the organisers look forward to welcome more than 800 visitors at the fairgrounds. According to Dominik Rzepka, Head of Marketing & Public Relations with fairtrade more than 500 professionals from 27 countries already pre-registered online.
For the first time in West Africa, the organisers launch an interactive Online Market Place for WACEE‘ 13 connecting buyers and sellers 24/7. The WACEE portal allows exhibitors and visitors to connect before, during and after the event.
The event enjoys the official support of the Ghanaian Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology, the Ministry for Water Resources, Works and Housing and the Metropolitan Assemblies.
