ZETTLER electronics launches new bi-stable Power Relay AZ 7621 P

ZETTLER’s Power Relay AZ 7621 P

Munich, Germany, February 6th, 2017 – The ZETTLER electronics GmbH, a manufacturer and distributor of electromagnetic and electronic components, has unveiled its new AZ 7621 P relay series. The latching power relay can switch 16 Amp at 250 VAC. Its electric life expectancy is 50K cycles operations at maximum ambient temperature of up to 85° C (185° F). Efficient and compact, with low height of 15.7 mm, standard frame as well as standard contact layout the power relay is designed for energy smart applications in a wide range of industries including industrial control, heating systems and building automation applications.

The AZ 7621 P relays are available in two types – single and dual coil. At typical set/reset voltage the coil power range amounts to 196 mW (single coil) or 294 mW (dual coil) as well as 318 mW (dual coil 24 VDC). At nominal coil voltage set time as well as reset time is typically 10 ms. Contact ratings for resistive loads are 4,000 VA for maximum switched power, 16 A for maximum switched current and 440 VAC maximum switched voltage. A 5kV coil-contact dielectric strength and a 1kV dielectric strength between open contacts ensure that the AZ 7621 P is robust enough for even highly susceptible applications.

It meets DIN VDE 0110 and IEC 60664-1 for basic insulation. Gold plated versions for contacts are optional. The terminals are tinned copper alloy, P. C. and the contact form is 1 form A (SPST-N.O.) or 1 form C (SPDT).

With the AZ 7621 P Zettler provides cost-efficient alternatives to its already existing monostable and bi-stable relay series AZ 762 and AZ 764.
